What is Vibrational Psychology?

The energy behind everything you do.

At AjaOso, Vibrational Psychology is a framework I use to explore the relationship between your body, mind, emotions, energy, consciousness and lived experience.

It begins with a simple premise: The energetic state you are in influences the way you experience your life.

Before you consciously make a choice, react to something, or respond to the world around you, you are already inhabiting a particular state. You may feel open or contracted, grounded or overwhelmed, connected or disconnected, clear or confused.

Your state influences what you notice, how you interpret what is happening, what feels possible, and how you respond. This is why sometimes understanding something intellectually isn't enough to change it.

You can know you need to rest and still keep pushing. You can understand a pattern and still find yourself repeating it. You can know what you want and still feel unable to move towards it.

This work begins beneath the story.

Start With Your State

Rather than asking only, “What's wrong with me?”, Vibrational Psychology invites a different kind of curiosity:

  • What energetic state am I in?

  • What is this state showing me?

  • What is this state making possible, and what is it making difficult?

This is where the language of Vibrational Psychology becomes useful.

State describes where you are right now.

You might notice, “I'm anxious about this conversation,” “I'm grounded and present,” or “I'm completely depleted.”

Your state can change throughout the day.

Energy describes the quality and movement of what you're experiencing.

You might feel heavy, scattered, activated, restless, expansive, settled, charged or flat.

Energy can move, build, contract or shift.

Baseline frequency describes the vibrational pattern you are inhabiting over time.

You might notice that you are repeatedly living from fear, urgency and scarcity, or increasingly from openness, trust, creativity and connection.

Frequency is less about one moment and more about the pattern you are carrying and expressing.

Bandwidth describes how much capacity you have available right now.

You might think, “I normally handle this easily, but today I can't take on one more thing,” or “I have enough space to really listen, process and respond.”

Your bandwidth affects how much you can perceive, process and engage with at any given time.

These aren't labels to put on yourself. They are language for becoming more familiar with your own experience. Over time, you begin to notice your patterns of activation, contraction, depletion, expansion, grounding and connection. You learn what shifts your state and what helps you return to greater steadiness. This is the beginning of vibrational awareness.

From Reaction to Choice

The goal isn't to stay in a “high vibration” all the time. Human life includes grief, anger, fear, uncertainty, contraction, confusion, and pain. These experiences aren't failures to overcome. They are part of being human.

My heart's desire with AjaOso is to help you become more conscious of what is happening within you, so that you are less unconsciously run by it. This is where regulation, embodiment, discernment and sovereignty become important.

You learn to recognise your patterns.

You learn what your body is communicating.

You begin to notice the relationship between your energetic state and your relationships, behaviours, choices and sense of self.

You begin to distinguish intuition from conditioning, alignment from avoidance, and what is truly yours from what you have absorbed from the people and world around you.

Over time, this creates more space for choice. And for me, choice is one of the deepest forms of human freedom.

A Multidimensional Way of Understanding

Vibrational Psychology also leaves room for dimensions of human experience that aren't easily explained by conventional psychological frameworks.

This might include spiritual awakening, mystical experiences, plant medicines or altered states of consciousness, profound intuition, synchronicity, near-death experiences, contact experience or a sense of connection with other forms of intelligence or consciousness.

These experiences can profoundly change how you understand yourself and reality. They can also be difficult to integrate. I don't believe these experiences need to be dismissed simply because they fall outside a conventional map. But I also don't believe we should blindly believe everything we experience.

Discernment is part of spiritual maturity.

We can remain open to what may be beyond what we currently understand while staying grounded in the

body, connected to everyday life and willing to question our own interpretations. This is an important part of working with the multidimensional human. We do not have to choose between the mystical and the practical. We can learn to hold both.

The Heart of the Work

If we begin with the understanding that everything we experience has an energetic dimension, then it becomes useful to develop a language and framework for relating to our energetic nature. Not simply to observe it, but to become more conscious of it.

Vibrational Psychology gives us a way to:

  • Build vibrational awareness and recognise the states we move through.

  • Expand perceptual capacity and become aware of how our state influences what we perceive.

  • Navigate frequency and learn how to move through different states with greater agency.

  • Work with vibrational patterns and imprints that influence how we experience ourselves and our lives.

  • Strengthen energetic boundaries and discernment, so we can better recognise what is ours and what we are taking on from others.

  • Practise frequency stewardship, becoming more conscious of what we cultivate, carry and contribute.

This is not about controlling every state or trying to maintain a particular vibration. It is about developing a deeper relationship with the energetic dimensions of being human. It brings together the psychological and the spiritual, the embodied and the energetic, the practical and the mystical.

The intention is not to help you escape your life, or become someone else. It is to help you become more deeply yourself, with a greater awareness of the states you inhabit, the vibrational patterns you carry and the choices available to you.

Ultimately, this work is about learning to notice, navigate and shift your energetic state so that change can become more conscious, embodied and lasting.
