MEET AJA
COUNSELLOR & EDUCATOR
There are parts of being human
that don't fit neatly in a box

I'm Aja, a counsellor, educator, and the founder of AjaOso and Vibrational Psychology.
I work with people who are navigating change, questioning what they've known, and exploring new ways of understanding themselves and the world, including experiences that don’t always fit within conventional frameworks.
My work grew from my own search for a more integrated understanding of ourselves, consciousness, and what it means to be human.

Canadian Certified Counsellor, MACP, BSN, BKIN
MY APPROACH
Transformation is not simply something we understand.
It is something we must learn to embody.
My approach begins with curiosity about what shapes our experience, from our patterns and relationships to our internal states, beliefs, and perceptions.
Together, we explore what's asking for attention, making space for deeper understanding, greater awareness, and meaningful change.
The intention is not simply to understand ourselves differently, but to live differently.

The Vision Behind AjaOso
EXPLORING WHAT IT MEANTS TO BE CONSCIOUS, HUMAN & ALIVE

AjaOso is an evolving body of work dedicated to deepening our understanding of ourselves, consciousness, and the world we inhabit.
At its heart is Vibrational Psychology, a developing framework that brings psychological understanding into conversation with spirituality, energetic awareness, and embodiment.
This vision is taking shape through the development of frameworks, teachings, and a school dedicated to integrating and embodying our multidimensional nature as we explore new ways of being human in a changing world.
MY STORY
What first felt like a collapse became the beginning of a much deeper inquiry into my true self and the nature of consciousness.
For nearly a decade, I worked as a Registered Nurse in emergency medicine, witnessing people through some of the most vulnerable and profound moments of their lives. These experiences shaped my understanding of human complexity, resilience, and the many ways we navigate uncertainty.
Then my own life began to change.
In 2017, I entered a period of profound personal transformation. Anxiety, depression, chronic pain, and a growing sense that the life I was living no longer reflected what I knew to be true led me to question much of what I understood about myself and the world.

What began as a search for my own understanding became a way of helping others find theirs.
I searched for support that could hold the full depth of my experience. Some approaches focused on psychology and pathology, while others centred on spirituality. I found myself looking for a bridge between the two.
Through counselling, spiritual exploration, plant medicine, embodied practices, and years of personal study, I've deepened my understanding of self, my spiritual nature, and the mysteries of being human. This ongoing journey continues to shape how I live and how I support others.

"Over the past two years, Aja has been a steady thread in my life, offering a grounding presence and thoughtful frameworks that help anchor insights and bring clarity in moments of internal confusion. The care she brings to my process reflects the depth of her understanding, compassion and lived experience."
