The Vibrational Self-Check

What is your current state telling you?

This is a simple way to start noticing what is happening beneath the surface.

Sometimes you know something is shifting, but you can’t quite name it. You might feel overwhelmed, disconnected, restless, or uncertain about what you want. You may find yourself questioning things you once accepted, or noticing that familiar ways of living no longer feel right.

This self-check is an invitation to become a little more familiar with your inner landscape. It isn't a test, diagnosis, or measure of how well you're doing. There is nothing to pass, and nothing you need to prove.

It's simply a moment to check in with yourself.

Take a breath. Notice your body. Read each question slowly and pay attention to what comes up.

The Check-In

1. Regulation

When life becomes intense, how easily can you return to a sense of steadiness?

2. Sensitivity

How deeply are you affected by the people, places, and environments around you? What helps you return to yourself?

3. Embodiment

When something is happening emotionally, do you notice it in your body, or do you tend to think your way through it?

4. Discernment

Can you tell the difference between your own inner knowing, fear, familiar patterns, and the expectations of others?

5. Belonging

Where in your life do you feel most able to be yourself? Where do you find yourself adapting in order to belong?

6. Questioning

Are there beliefs, expectations, or ways of living you've begun to question because they no longer make sense to you?

7. Integration

Have you had experiences or realizations that changed how you understand yourself or life, but you're still learning how to live what you've discovered?

8. Alignment

Is there something in your life you know no longer fits, yet you continue because it's familiar, expected, or difficult to change?

9. Purpose

What feels meaningful to you right now? Are you giving enough space to the things that matter most?

Your Reflection

Take a moment to notice which question stayed with you.

Perhaps something felt familiar. Perhaps you recognized a pattern, or noticed something you hadn't given much attention to before. You don't need to interpret everything.

In my work with Vibrational Psychology, I often begin with a simple question: What is my current state showing me?

Our emotions, thoughts, physical sensations, and responses to life can offer information about what we're experiencing. They don't always tell the whole story, but they give us somewhere to begin.

Notice what has your attention. What feels alive. What feels draining. What keeps repeating. And rather than immediately trying to change something, see if you can stay curious about it.

A Small Practice

Choose one question from the self-check that feels particularly relevant to your life right now.

Take a few minutes to explore:

Notice: What am I experiencing?

Name: What feelings, sensations, or patterns can I recognize?

Explore: What might be contributing to this experience? What do I need to understand more clearly?

Integrate: Is there something I've realized that I haven't yet brought into my everyday life?

Embody: What is one small choice I can make that reflects what I'm learning?

You don't need a dramatic breakthrough. Sometimes the most meaningful change begins with noticing something you've been moving past for a long time.
